About Yubin

Originally from Shenzhen, China, harpist Yubin Zhang began her musical journey on the harp at the age of 13. Her dedication to the instrument has taken her from China to the United States, where she has developed her artistry through study, performance, and collaboration.

Throughout her musical journey, Yubin has had the opportunity to learn from distinguished harpists including Bridget Kibbey, Allegra Lilly, Deborah Fleisher, and Joan Holland.

As an experienced freelance harpist, she performs in a variety of settings, from concerts and chamber music to weddings and private events. She has performed with Johnny Mathis and at prominent South Florida venues.

Yubin’s journey has shaped her both as a musician and as an individual. She continues to develop her artistic voice and explore the harp as both a solo and collaborative instrument, with a goal of creating meaningful musical experiences for her audiences.
